Spongebob Squarepants creator Stephen Hillenburg dead at 57!

I'm 48 and I love a bit of SpongeBob. Very silly and quite satirical at times. Sad indeed.

Never realy liked this show (maybe because of its translation in french, but I am not a veru big fan of cartoons in general) but damn that's sad , such a young age, but he had a very rare disease. A generation grew up with his work, RIP.

Sponge Bob is creative because he has humor that can be appreciated by adults and children alike. Much like Shrek and The Incredibles, Sponge Bob appeals to all ages. I found Sponge Bob to be hilarious.

Now you bring that topic to my attention i'v just realized that spongebob squarepants may be the sponge you use to clean up a fish tank?
Iv never understood why the main protagonist of the cartoon wasnt a sea creature like all the others. xD Now I think I know why...and that's actually one of the thing that prevented me from watching the show xD
