Sorry for Another Sad Topic...

You got some good advice from everyone. This "Hammy" seems to be what some people might call a Vampire. There is no saving him. Total disconnect is the right approach.

It's funny that people mention that about him being a vampire because he had certain topics that he often gave long speeches on and one of them was vampires and the importance of keeping them out of your life. I guess following his advice involves keeping him away, which is interesting..
 
How not to be found once you've moved:
no magazine subscriptions,
no pizza or other deliveries of any kind to your own address,
no cable or landline telephone,
use another address when required to give one [like for a cell phone].

If Hammie ever threatens you:
get a court order or protection or something that orders him to stay away.

Block his email and block him on social media.
Do not engage.
That just starts the manipulation all over again.
