Son has been progressing very well since coming out

My son has been progressing well since he came out as a part time crossdresser and he goes by Ashley when he is dressed as her. Ashley and I have been out getting to know each other which has helped. Plus it has been with my daughters helping out including my friend Tracy. Ashley has been listening to my friend Tracy very well. My daughters still let her borrow their clothes and recently got her to try something new, try on a 2 piece bikini. Ashley walked out wearing them and they thought she looked good in them. My friend Tracy mentioned a beauty pageant for MTF crossdresser and transgender teens coming up in December for Ashley to enter. Said it is lot of work for her putting the effort into and we had the talk with her on this yesterday. Ashley's eyes lit up and said she wants to do this. Luckily Tracy knows the coordinator running it and will get in contact with her. Also knows the perfect coach for her getting in contact with her. I know Ashley will love it, one is meet new friends like her.

Kid needs to focus on studies instead.

Transgender people have worse employment and mental health outcomes from lack of acceptance and a number of other factors. Fine, I get it, accepting place for kid.

However, a beauty pageant is creep bait on an average day, and you're probably going to get a whole lot more creeps at this one given that it's underage trans girls and cross-dressing gay boys.

High school years are years for study and excellence. Extracurricular activities that teach a skill, a trade, or an art would be ideal.
