I am zooming with my youngest sister very soon, whom I have not seen since she was 7 year's old and now she is 39 and a mother of two.

Can't believe how frightened and anxious I am and worse still is the panic that she will find me awful looking. I mean: how vain am I lol

It was FABULOUS and very surreal. Lol despite me being the eldest, she is more mature than me! We look similar. Well, perhaps the younger version of me and she has met our other siblings and one could not get over how alike Tracy is to me. I said that we could be fraternal twins. Me being the eldest and her being the youngest.

She is delightful and we had a good laugh and discovered how much we have been lied to by social workers.

Tracy related that when she finally received her case notes, both she and her man decided to reach out to me first so that I could fill in any holes in her memory, but could they find me? NO and even the expert at finding people, could not find me lol and this is due to me being quiet. I do not post selfies or basically flaunt myself.

I knew the first person she would be able to connect with is the second sister, as she does flaunt herself and true enough that is exactly what happened and I think Tracy must have corrected Vanessa's erroreous thinking, as Vanessa reached out to me ( before I even knew that Tracy had been found) and said that she realised that it was thanks to me, our siblings got out of more abuse and that instead of her being strong, it is me who is the strong one, so now I think that Tracy reminded her of this.

Strangely, Tracy does not remember me in her childhood, despite the fact that it was myself and my husband who visited her in her foster care ( lovely foster parents), but lies were said of me, so I had no choice but to stop visiting her. It was her case notes that actually told her about me.

It is a tricky one, because I have to be careful in what I reveal about our lives living in such an awful environment. I can't really go off on a tangent, otherwise, I will add to already the negative atmosphere around me. LIES, LIES AND MORE have been said about me, from female birth parent.

This is so beautiful to read, especially as an elder sister to a younger who is the most important person in my life! There's nothing like the platonic bond between two women imo, and in this world that's so often inhospitable to us it's almost a rad!cal act.

It sounds like you've really done the work and persisted to overcome odds against you both, and deconstructed the false narratives that have blocked your path to sisterhood. Only forwards, rooting for you both.
