Knowing ones self and becoming aware and vulnerable, is what makes you a weapon. As in that a black belt in e.g. Karate, means your journey has started. A black belt and Mastery is only the beginning. That's great!
Knowing one can handle oneself often means one may never have to.
Thank you for that. You just proved you have a sense of humor. Your posts have always been so serious in the past.We know i do or study Defence.

what we need to P.A.D (Protect And Defend) ourselves & our pepole from the harmful aspects of nt society in being lowly expectated of things, being treated differently, being stigmatized & being done wrong to by people like that because of it while fighting them.
i don't know who they are.Hi @aspieoutlaw89
I saw the first 4 videoes in that playlist M.A.R.S. And that a creative word, i must say. But who are "Katie and Roger"?
Also i struggel to understand how Katie could be blind, and female, and yet endure The Dojo. In the Dojo you sweat and cry, and being blind could give you benefits from The Dojo but would impede all the other students. In the Dojo we help eachother. Would you help? You can show that textually and physically. ... You can start helping me
I'm non-belt or white-belt Karateka, and had my share of sweating and crying. But i'm fat now and struggel with brain dammage making it Hard to stay fit or social. Can i inflict dammage? Yes. Through my DDW, a weapon invisible including being physical, it's a thing. It's a word. (edit) I guess you also or anyone can inflict Dammage.
Imam Ali (as) says: "My weapon is my tears". ... i'd suggest Churches and Mosques, they are more suited to blind and handicapped than Dojos. In Dojos you sweat and fight.
Although i can't fight. Also i need to understand how blind and crippled people can offer help. Or would they stand in the way?
PS: There's a guy here added to all these struggels whom says, violently, Karate is useless. He'd beat you up or rather down. Or he'd beat me. He and Joey has also Defenestrated me personally. ... So i guess Pain may be a good thing. Being blind is called Kafir or dis-believer, from Cover in english. Not because you are physically blind. But because the heart is blind, in that person, the inner sight and insight.

have you ever fought competitively ?My siblings and I all took karate as kids, but it didn’t last too long, not taken too seriously…think I got to purple belt? Was the 4th one if I recall correctly. Maybe times have changed or the particular place we went to just did things differently, can’t really say because I never bothered to study beyond that. I kind of wonder if being homeschooled I didn’t face much bullying and didn’t see much of a need for self defense at the time.
Nowadays, I got into games like Yakuza and by extension Shenmue. It’s been a few years at least since but only actually finished Shenmue 2 this past year, and while many characters do all these feats, there was one side character in searching for the four Wude who practiced tai chi. It was only a small part, but it seemed neat to me even among many other styles in these games, kind if reminding me of CQC in the Metal Gear Solid series.
Now, these are just games, and even with Shenmue now being considered more grounded and less flashy, have still got to take into consideration it’s entertainment at the end of the day. I don’t know how actually useful something like tai chi is in self defense specifically, but in my brief look into it so far I’ve found it might at least be a relaxing way to get some activity into my lifestyle, if only I could find a good resource to learn more from.
