Self Defence

That's great!

Knowing one can handle oneself often means one may never have to.

That's great!

Knowing ones self and becoming aware and vulnerable, is what makes you a weapon. As in that a black belt in e.g. Karate, means your journey has started. A black belt and Mastery is only the beginning.

Being a weapon is having the ability to punish, though only Defensively. As a Force of Peace. Yet a warrior should know when to stop fighting. I don't know that i should stop fighting.

It is said young snakes are more dangerous than adult snakes...

Edit: My Zen teacher Genkaku Kigen told me: with great doubt comes great enlightenment

PasaRyu and Shiajuitsu - both are combination trainings. PasaRyu is a combined Korean arts from Khang Rhee. Shiajutsu is combining jiujutsu and shiatsu for a fast incapacitation of anyone. These are what I learned, but I have no formal degrees or belts. I can confirm that if you know enough, you are dangerous, though. I only stopped the classes because I got into boxing and then team sports more so. Discipline is the all around necessary component.

I'm the funniest! ... That's why you are not allowed to interact with me, i'm getting squeezed. God is showing me myself what I didn't know.... Bad friends are not optional. ... people have a tendency to become/turn bad after they get social company, Forcing them back to God.

I'm saying Forcing while i know fully it's not allowed to Force. Until one gets corrupt by Social company. I was talking with a person on DM about God in Surat Al-Aala ... but i'll stop here.

what we need to P.A.D (Protect And Defend) ourselves & our pepole from the harmful aspect of nt society,as well as being treated differently, stigmatized & being done wrong to by people like that because of it.

Such discrimination is a civil issue legally speaking. A moral wrong in the eyes of some, but not something that rises to the level of a criminal offense. Particularly in a society (USA) that legally allows one person to say what they want as long as "it does not precipitate an imminent, lawless act".

So responding to such transgressions with any kind of force could amount to a crime on our part.

Discouraging, but it's the legal reality of our situation. A legal dynamic that admittedly is different in many other legal jurisdictions. Where one might be criminally liable for what they say. Just not here.

Legal precedents that essentially have completely undermined the "Doctrine of Clear and Present Danger" at the highest level of our courts. Essentially meaning that one can yell "fire" in a crowded opera house all they want, as long as no one is tangibly injured.

Hi @aspieoutlaw89

I saw the first 4 videoes in that playlist M.A.R.S. And that a creative word, i must say. But who are "Katie and Roger"?

Also i struggel to understand how Katie could be blind, and female, and yet endure The Dojo. In the Dojo you sweat and cry, and being blind could give you benefits from The Dojo but would impede all the other students. In the Dojo we help eachother. Would you help? You can show that textually and physically. ... You can start helping me 😛👎

I'm non-belt or white-belt Karateka, and had my share of sweating and crying. But i'm fat now and struggel with brain dammage making it Hard to stay fit or social. Can i inflict dammage? Yes. Through my DDW, a weapon invisible including being physical, it's a thing. It's a word. (edit) I guess you also or anyone can inflict Dammage.

Imam Ali (as) says: "My weapon is my tears". ... i'd suggest Churches and Mosques, they are more suited to blind and handicapped than Dojos. In Dojos you sweat and fight.

Although i can't fight. Also i need to understand how blind and crippled people can offer help. Or would they stand in the way?

PS: There's a guy here added to all these struggels whom says, violently, Karate is useless. He'd beat you up or rather down. Or he'd beat me. He and Joey has also Defenestrated me personally. ... So i guess Pain may be a good thing. Being blind is called Kafir or dis-believer, from Cover in english. Not because you are physically blind. But because the heart is blind, in that person, the inner sight and insight.

My siblings and I all took karate as kids, but it didn’t last too long, not taken too seriously…think I got to purple belt? Was the 4th one if I recall correctly. Maybe times have changed or the particular place we went to just did things differently, can’t really say because I never bothered to study beyond that. I kind of wonder if being homeschooled I didn’t face much bullying and didn’t see much of a need for self defense at the time.

Nowadays, I got into games like Yakuza and by extension Shenmue. It’s been a few years at least since but only actually finished Shenmue 2 this past year, and while many characters do all these feats, there was one side character in searching for the four Wude who practiced tai chi. It was only a small part, but it seemed neat to me even among many other styles in these games, kind if reminding me of CQC in the Metal Gear Solid series.

Now, these are just games, and even with Shenmue now being considered more grounded and less flashy, have still got to take into consideration it’s entertainment at the end of the day. I don’t know how actually useful something like tai chi is in self defense specifically, but in my brief look into it so far I’ve found it might at least be a relaxing way to get some activity into my lifestyle, if only I could find a good resource to learn more from.

i don't know who they are.

i'm a self-taught karateka, focused on it's raw,hard-hitting power,as well as the physical aspect of it,there is a style focus on physically pushing yourself & hitting your opponents hard known as kyokushin,i just do some punches,i've never done katas before,i know you gotta have hand-eye coordination, even muscle coordination, which i don't have, because of low-muscle tone.
