Seeing with your memories first.

Ok thats a bit hard to explain even if in my opinion the title is self explainatory :

Sometimes, when I see something that I have no analyzed yet, I will see it as something Iv already seen before, like a memory overlaps my senses for a split second.

Its like a mirage I guess, to some extend it may be related to the fact that a lot of the time when I see someone for a split second I will think that I know this person /already seen this person before.

But It maybe not the exact same thing , I will try to explain it better...

For instance :
Friday , there was a little festival near my neighbourhood , as I walked near I saw some policemen garding the entrance.

The day after, I walked near the same place, and I see someone at the place were the policemen were, for a split second I see a policeman, so I say to my self " this event will last all week end this is cool"
But not it was just a random guy walking near that place, not looking like a policeman at all , just wearing a casual blue sweat shirt...

And I have a lots of example like that, when I see an image or something that I havent analyzed yet its like my memory make me see something for a split sec, It doesnt bother me much or make me feel like I am not living in reality, but this is weird and I wanted to know your point of view.

Edit : it also happens with sound sometimes, at the beginning I hear something and it sounds like something I know but actually its something totally different , here again this is a thought process that is a bit disturbing but it's a matter of a second

I don't know about NTs but for me that is fairly normal thought processing. Until I identify the new thing, my mind might try to fill it with the closest thing it comes up with out of the files.

You may have heard sayings like 'Don't Trust Anyone', etc. Well that is most true of your own mind.
