Technically. Though not what I generally think of.

My sister took economics after her undergraduate degree in geology both us agree economics is far from being a science.

Not a science as scientists would define it. More of a series of observations in search of a coherent discipline.

I view all the so called soft sciences this way. Either way Astronomy is for the most part observations,

It never seemed like a science subject to me either really though it is classed as one. It is definitely not what I am referring to when talking about liking science. The so called hard sciences just seem more scientific somehow.

True, but astronomy observations can be used to make predictions which can be tested. When economists try to test predictions, I seem to pay more for everything.

Astronomy and human anatomy were my special interests as a little kid! Nowadays, I'm still fascinated by these topics, though not as intensely. As of today, my favorite fields of science would have to be psychology and sociology.

Meteorology is a childhood obsession of mine. I feel like I have started finding it again. It's too bad I surpressed myself like I did. I would of probably strived in anything weather. Maybe I still can.

At a university that shall remain nameless, a communications cable was run from one side of the campus to the other. The contractor installing it grounded the cable shield at both ends. A couple of years later there was a lightning strike quite near the campus… A very costly mistake! Luckily nobody was injured.
