That's sad to hear she passed away after fighting cancer for 2 years. She was a very successful vocalist in her native New Zealand, and also throughout Australia where she relocated. Used to play her songs a lot thanks to the user "KneesTease" on YouTube.

Formerly of the groups Peking Man (with her brother, Pat) and When the Cat's Away, she also did the number one hit "Escaping" which was later covered by the British singer, Dina Carroll.

Will be missed, spent many a day listening to Room that Echoes on a tape cassette loop in my youth, will look for that on spotify now
