RIP Jimmy Buffet

Saw this morning that Jimmy Buffet died. I enjoyed much of his work. It always cheered me up when I was feeling down. A couple of my favorites. Enjoy.

I've got so much of his music downloaded onto my computer, it's ridiculous. A lot of good memories. At the cottage on Elk Lake sitting out on the deck along the waterfront, sitting in the hot tub or around the fire pit, taking the pontoon boat out to Torch Lake, fun times on the sandbar, and some Jimmy Buffet to chill you out and put a smile on your face.

R.I.P. You will be remembered.

Jimmy Buffet is a native son of my home state of Mississippi. I've enjoyed his music for decades. Maybe we should make margaritas and cheeseburgers this weekend to commemorate him. He'd like that.

May he have fair winds and following seas. RIP, Jimmy

I read an article about him that said he died at age 76 from skin cancer. I'll slather on more sunscreen today. He was also a longtime friend of Warren Buffett. They weren't blood relatives but they called each other uncle and nephew. I hope he is enjoying a cheeseburger in paradise and that heaven has sailboats and dogs.

I'm a bit of a Melanoma crusader so it's very sad to hear that. :(

My friend Sarah died from Melanoma on 1st August, at age 36.
My dad died from it.
My mother and brother have it now.
It can be genetic, so watch out for that too if it's in anyone's family.

My sister-in-law works for Warren Buffet.

Us baby boomers are going to die in droves in the next couple of years 20% in the next couple just life, that includes celebrities.
