Riddles

The only thing with "question" and "mark" that I can think of is a question mark but I don't think that makes sense for the riddle in general.🤔

Read line one in entirety using those two words you just mentioned, then that is one of the ways to get the riddle solution. In other words, what begins after a question mark?

I'm afraid you have me stumped with this one.😔
Nice tries though. As there are no more guesses, I will give the "answer" as that is the answer to the riddle.

I begin always after I leave my (question) mark, (an answer)
Some question me, turning friction to spark. (my/your answer)
In the dark I can find light, (an answer, ie. become enlightened)
I can turn wrong into some right. (an answer, ie. after correction)
But I can fail every time too, (the answer, ie. if get wrong each time)
Or even inform, entertain or persuade you. (the answer, ie. it can do one or more of those)

Will post another in few hours at earliest , but if anyone has another they are welcome to post it, to give you or another a try if any has a new riddle ready, if op ok with that .. Heading out for a bit.

Some thing shall do that which I do it tell.
My name in 2 parts do both name where some thing did once dwell.
What am I?

That is a bit hard to even guess right now, as for me it seemed not enough information. Also, is "well" the word you meant to say instead or was "tell" correct at the end of line 1?

It is meant to say tell. It is a rather archaic/poetic license sort of wording to say what I meant to say in the first sentence while making it rhyme with the second. Basically the first line says - There is some thing that will do what I tell it to.

If not attempting to rhyme the riddle could be written as

There is something that will do what I tell it to.
If you divide my name into two parts, both parts are the name of something that something else used to live in.

Sheepdogs can follow commands . Parasites can live in both sheep and dogs.

No. And to fit the riddle, the sheepdog would have had to have been the one giving the command that was followed. Of course, I suppose they do command the sheep.🤔 That wasn't it though.

Ok, I understand now. The I is the answer, not the it (the one that gives commands, not receives.) Will think of more possibilities then.

A classroom (though that likely may not directly fit as it would be an instructor in the classroom giving the commands).

Both parts are not only something where a thing could live, but actually something which you would be likely to automatically see as a place where something would live.

Does that same type of thing live in both of the answer word parts, or does the 2 parts of the answer contain a different type of thing to live there?
