Riddles

Answer: One of us (tea) contains the other (the letter t)
And in some way we are the same (pronunciation when named).
Think of write (you could write either ) and drink ( tea) and read (either one again) and pour (tea) for from these you'll learn my name.

Clue answers: It could be the cookie's fate because you could have the cookie for tea.

As for the "four descriptions" reference within some previous dialogue, I was referencing "write and drink and read and pour".
Thanks for explaining. I would have never got it right. It makes sense now though

Larger than horses; over the mountains we came.
Due to us, some general obtained much fame
And a fictional Colonel shares his name.
What are we?

Clue - When I said "over the mountains we came", I meant came as in actual motion of coming over rather than merely denoting the location as crossing over mountains.

Ok. So the answer would not likely be elephants then . If it was though, I will elaborate how I derived at that.. Otherwise, I will assume you mean mountain symbolically, or in another context.

@1ForAll Why do you think it would not likely be elephants in particular?
Oh, I reread your clue, which you gave after my stone wall answer .I understand now I think.. My mistake there. You were directing me away from that answer that involved no motion over the mountain, not directing me totally away necessarily from my original militia answer where there was motion or movement .

So my new answer is indeed elephants as they are larger than horses, and the only fictional Colonels I know are Colonel Sanders and Colonel Hannibal Smith (The A Team). So I researched Generals named that. I came up with General Hannibal Barca, who was apparently famous for using war elephants over the Alps and Pyrenees. So elephants are my final answer.

New Riddle:

Line by line, one letter is fine,
starting with number 3.
Two U’s to begin is divine,
Then I excite or interject you’ll see.
Then upside down one goes,
I end in a word of three.
