Riddles

Your doing ok. And if riddles aren't your thing, there are lots of other games here on the forum.

Probably not going to guess again, just check back from time to time to watch in amazement as others figure them out :)

I don't know if anyone will try to guess. I think most of the people who used to engage with this thread have either lost interest or taken a break from the forum. If you want to watch them be figured out, I would recommend starting at the beginning of the thread (the first post explains the rules) and reading through some old ones.

If I am Red on a hot day and Blue on a freezing cold night, what kind of paint do I wear when twilight comes?

One of us contains the other of us and in some way are we are the same.
Think of write and drink and read and pour for from these you'll learn my name.
What am I ?
I'm still waiting for someone to figure out this riddle from last July. Does anyone want to guess or would everyone prefer for me to simply provide the answer to this one.

Picture/Pitcher
Pen/Pin

?
You're getting part of the idea; however, all 4 descriptions must fit one set rather than two separate sets. Also, one must contain the other.

Additional hint: It really could relate to a fate for that cookie in the other thread.😉

It would be a homophone, but one in which the one literal contains the spelling of the other in addition to them both sounding the same.

The part about it being capable of being the fate of a cookie really is a big hint as well.

So is the answer homophone? Or is the answer a homophone?

Homophone is not the answer, but the two part answer is a homophone.
And in that clue, it was supposed to say fate of a cookie. I just corrected it.
