Riddles

Ok I'll try.

I have blades, but I don't cut anything. But somehow I get cut all the time. What am I?
 
Some things that have me are short and others are tall.
Many at times have none of me at all.
On one thing that often has three;
Many wish four to see.
What am I ?

I had an answer right away, but I figured I’d see if anyone else jumped first.

Is it plant/flower petals (also referred to as leaves)? 3 leaves on a clover, but wish for 4.
 
If I have two, my veins are like a net;
But if one parallel ones I'll likely get.
What am I ?
 
I think I know what it is, but I probably cheated. Not by looking up the riddle. But I kinda had an idea to begin with, so I read more about the subject to learn what it was called.
