Regression with age (Does autism get worse?)

I think the fading of infatuation may be more to blame as far as displaying less physical affection than I used to (not the same as sex, either, though that is always scheduled; never spontaneous. How aspergerian!) In general, my autistic traits have gotten less pronounced over the years. Masking? Desire and practice? Better, but only to a point. I am who i am.
 
I have some experience with that. But not enough to say things are better or worse with age.
 
I think the decrease in intimacy and interaction is typical of all people over time. I don't think it really means anything. Just something that comes with age.
