Yeah, I've never heard of it either. It's usually aspie or autie, or sperg.

That also sounds rude.

Honestly, I think they *all* sound rude. Maybe I've spent too long staring into the abyss.

I never heard 'a-spec' used in reference to autism spectrum before, only asexual spectrum. If I hadn't seen the term used on asexual forums before I would probably assume it was something to do with sight (spectacles) or the light spectrum.
I use 'aspie'.

I've never heard of the term and wouldn't want to use it. There are enough terms already, I don't feel its necessary to further confuse people.

One thing about "aspec" to me is the word looks so much like "aspic."
