Planning Baby Names {It's Not What You Think!}

No. I m not pregnant.

This thought came about when my mom, my aunt and I were out shopping. We were talkin about someone giving their kid a funny name (Neveah). I brought up my pick for baby names at one point. Then later added two or more options for myself:
  • Good Angel (for a girl) and Mephistopheles (for a boy).
  • Sindel (for a girl) and Cynric (for a boy); Either way, they're pretty much stuck with the nickname 'Sin.'
And yes, they all come from some form of fiction. Good Angel, Mephistopheles, and Cynric are the names of weretigers from the Anita Blake series. Sindel...Do I really gotta tell you?

You're right.
It wasn't what I was thinking.

I thought you were planning baby names for a story.

Sometimes people use the nickname "Cyn" for a girl
named "Cynthia," too.

Nice centering/symmetry in your post. :)

Years of seeing tons of baby names on my job confirmed the true meaning of Nevaeh (the a comes before the e normally). It's a code meaning "my mother was about 16 when she gave birth to me". That's why I only saw 3 or 4 in about six years - mothers of that age don't care about anyone's education.

More girl names:
  • Agatha
  • Mileena (Kevin Smith named his kid "Harley Quinn"; So, I'm well within my rights.)
  • Ada
  • Phyllis
