Hospitals. That's right. Hospitals have always been one of my biggest fears.
There's something about needles and tubes going in every orifice of my body that just creeps me out. I guess it has something to do with not being in control.
Well two days ago I went in for hernia surgery. For two weeks I had been dreading it, pretty terrified. Well after some serious prayer, about two days before surgery, my fears completely went away and I was at total peace knowing that God would take care of me.
It turns out the whole process wasn't too bad and next time will be much easier. I think sometimes we work our minds up into a frenzy and fill our minds with all the what ifs and torture ourselves mentally over things.
Just glad it's over and next time I face this fear it won't be so bad.
