You might consider talking to him about Aspergers and ask him to explain it to you. It's also good to learn about it as a scientific topic, but keep in mind that we are not all identical. We share traits and characteristics, but we each manage them differently in varying degrees of intensity. Please don't treat him as defective. Motivation, needs, and interests might be slightly out of the ordinary, but not wrong. Under the right conditions, people with Aspergers can work magic. Everything we do involves the heart. We just don't have a play/pause button.
Thank you, that is why I'm here. I've been reading about it but, even that it's been helpful, it's been confusing as well.If he is actually diagnosed with it, it would be good for you to read up on Aspergers online. There are many sites on the subject. But read more then one, because there are errors and misconceptions sometimes on these sites.
