New to the forum. Hello

I was dx'ed with Autism when I was 6-7ish, that was 1980-1981-ish.

I'm 38

In a longterm common-law relationship with a mostly tolerant and understanding NT guy (he makes everything work for me) who just had open heart surgery.

I live in the prairies. Just moved out of the city and my bought and paid for house to a rental in the country. Being in a quieter place is helping. Trying to downsize a house and sell it is beyond anxiety inducing.

I guess I will write more later.

Hello.

Thank you for the welcome.

I should mention I was recently evaluated and the diagnosis was Aspergers, but that was just before the DSM-V. The specialist that evaluated me mentioned that I had learned some good coping skills but needed help managing my anxiety and to work on a sensory diet, unsure of the sensory diet bit, could be some new-age mumbojumbo, totally agree with the anxiety issues though.
