A Rare Moment in History for the Neurodiverse

I’ve been around long enough to see the world change in ways few could have predicted. One of the most remarkable changes I’ve witnessed is how AI and technology are quietly rewriting the rules for how talent is recognized and valued.

In my own life, I’ve had the privilege of closely observing my son a neurodiverse mind at work — whose way of thinking has taught me more than any textbook. His approach is pure logic, unfiltered honesty, and a remarkable ability to see patterns that most of us miss.

For decades, the world seemed to reward conformity more than originality. Now, with AI, I see the balance shifting. Technology can take a stream of thoughts and instantly turn them into clear writing, visual models, or creative outputs — without dimming the uniqueness behind them. Research is at our fingertips, problem-solving can be modeled before action, and global collaboration is no longer limited by location or formalities.

To me, this feels like a rare moment in history — one where the neurodiverse mind is not asked to “fit in” but is finally equipped to stand out on its own terms. My hope is that this generation embraces these tools not to imitate the majority, but to amplify what makes them different. Because that difference, I’ve learned firsthand, can be brilliance in its purest form.
