welcome to af.webp

We have a few parents here who may be able to offer you input.

You might start by looking in the archives here: Parenting & Autism Discussions, or if you feel you haven't found what you are looking for, open up a thread in the same section in order for it to get more responses.

Would they be open to seeing a professional for therapy? It's a really tricky time, high school. I don't envy your 14 year old one bit.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you find the support you need here.

How wonderful that you are trying to help him!

He recognizes it, but seems stuck or powerless against it. Strenuous regular exersize seems to help. But he is not consistent with it.
