New Girl Here

I’m Emily and I live in Texas. I was diagnosed with autism when I was three, but was told by my parents when I was sixteen. I love cartoons and girly stuff like flowers and princesses. I live at home right now, but work and attend college. I work with pets and kids, hope to have some of my own someday. After I finish university, I hope to have a loving home of this with a husband who embraces all my differences. But for now, I just need to focus on university and my relationship with Jesus Christ, which is the biggest part of my life and identity because He gives me life.

Hi and welcome, I hope that you like it here, and will offer your ideas and views.

Nice to meet you. You seemed very together and grounded for a young adult. Welcome to the forum.

You Go! Girl. You are focused on the right things. How I wish I had your maturity at that age. Yet I made something of myself in the long run.

Welcome. I have learned a lot here and I expect you will too.
