Turns out I can't have outside sources for the project only official information and since everyone's experience with ASD is different it wouldn't be very reliable to include it.

Well, to start with the basics: ASD isn’t a disease. It’s a variant in brain architecture you’re born with as a result of genetics.
It’s not something that’s curable. So there is no such thing as relapse or recovery rates.

What I stated above is really basic information a cursory google search would have told you as well. It’s nice that’s you come here for answers, but it’s better to come prepared. I think it might be a good idea to read up on ASD for a bit and then ask specific questions on things that aren’t clear yet, rather than ask others to tell you everything about the subject.

Happy to educate though, if you have additional questions.

Definitely the wrong approach. Thank you for coming here to ask, but the reaction you could get asking things like that might be similar if you asked a forum for gay people the same questions about their sexual preference.
We're not sick, we're not mentally ill, we need no treatment, don't get better, don't relapse, we're just people with different mental wiring.
I know you probably don't mean any offence but it could easily be taken.
As said above - if you want to cover this subject, do some proper research, change your topic to "Increasing Societal Awareness and Acceptance of People With Autism" then come back and ask us again ;)
 
When I was 15 I went hiking in New England and was bitten by the ASD tick....
