I have used AI in ChatGPT more than I’m comfortable with for the longest time since I discovered it about a year ago

I’m trying to improve on my vocabulary and expression even if it is through speech to text sometimes, but I’m trying to not use AI for everything.

As for my job, thank you I appreciate it. I want to help in anyway I can with our community.
 
Thank you for telling us what you encounter and how it affects you. It also showcases your abilities to help others with kindness. You have overcome some serious issues, and you still keep moving forward. That's determination.

Your coworkers with formal education and degrees -- they can learn a lot from you.

It is very valuable to have shared life experience with the kids you work with -- and no degree program can give your coworkers lived experience like yours.

I've found AI to be an important tool, but not to write out everything for me. If you use exactly what ChatGPT says, others will be able to tell you did that. You want your message to be yours not AIs. You are better than AI. I use AI to suggest synonyms, phrasing. Sometimes I'll write a whole sentence and ask, "Is there just one word for this?

Once you write out your talk, put it into ChatGPT and ask it to change the arrangement for maximum understanding. Or for getting your point across. Or best order for sentences. This can give you more ideas to improve your writing.

The importance of teacher's aides in special education cannot be overemphasized. Some of my clients were in school with aides and the aides often taught more than the teachers did. Good for you!
 
You bring a lot to your job and place of work. The people you support are lucky to have you on their side.
