I remember @Aspychata saying something about a makeover. Now my friend I meet 3 weeks who said she wants to give me a makeover to boost my confidence and make me more appropriate

She says to wear shirts and clothes to represent the music I love. I love anime. Since I meet her I noticed she dresses more in a punk type style like an anime outcast which is why I approached her.

Just I never did things like this No to tats and piercings.
 
Well, why not have a think about what look you'd like to show the world? Maybe have a look at google images to find some ideas. Maybe you'd like to go for something a little cyber punk for example. Just type in something like "Male Cyber Punk Outfit" and download the images you like to act as inspiration? I'm not suggesting that you go for cyber punk unless it appeals to you of course :-)

The important thing here is to pick elements of the style you like that you feel expresses your personality and the things you would like to show to the world. Nerdy and quirky has been quite trendy for a while now. In my opinion, there's not many people who are authentic so when someone is genuine and not just "wearing a costume to fit in at the Apple Store" its always cool to meet people like that.

It could be fun to try :-)
 
Hope you fun with it if you decide to do it, @Tony Ramirez. I'd say to go for things that are comfortable and make you feel good. Feeling emotionally and physically comfortable in your clothes can be a big confidence booster.

Personally, I would recommend sticking by saying NO to tattoos and piercings. I personally find them repulsive.

If you want to experiment with the look of piercings you can get some pretty convincing clip on jewelry. You could always be upfront about it if someone says "oh I like your ear piecing" you can turn it into an ice breaker and say "oh actually, its a phoney one, I'm trying to work out if I'd like to get a piercing...." That sort of thing. Probably better as a subtle thing, rather than covering yourself with loads of metal as that might be perceived as a bit pretentious 😸
 
Honestly, I'd start out with shirts. Take in baby steps to see if you're comfortable wearing that in public, then experiment a little more. It's okay if you don't like something that your friend likes.
 
I wish it weren't true, but yeah, how we look / dress promotes ourselves like a billboard to everyone. It's an instinct of humans (with sight, of course) to judge each other as such. No matter your style of dress, though, hygiene is more of how we also instinctively judge each other immediately.

Bear with me.... I have given several classes on doing film fx and gore make up, and folks have always been surprised to find out that what gives them apprehension or "scares" them about another human being to wind up such simple things as - gross/unkempt/odd looking fingers/hands, eyes/around eye sockets, teeth/mouth area. For whatever reason, those three areas are where we focus, first, and if anything is off to us...we definitely give pause at the least. Most people just want to leave the situation entirely. It's an instinctual part of us. It just is. Clothes almost never get judged as scrutinous, first up, but they are likely secondary judgement for many.

Think about it this way, too: People talk to you, they look at you and people are also touch friendly to degrees (shaking hands or fist bumps - some are repeat offender huggers, haha). In all three areas, even with our mind types being who don't give great eye contact, don't talk as much and don't touch as much, usually....still....we glance enough at those areas of others to pass judgement of comfort / trust (those words I always use...once again). So, you have to keep in mind that the majority of folks (NT out there) definitely pay even more attention to the same things.

I recommend looking up the concept of "frame" in the looksmaxxing community. It will help in you becoming as attractive as possible.
 
I think we also have types that are always the same. I always end up with, (hilarious) two horoscope signs, l really don't venture away from that. And body type. If it's not broken, why mess with the formula.
