My art tablet is coming today

My art tablet is due to come today. I’m excited. Hoping to draw some things with it today too.

That's pretty great. I've never had a computerized art tablet. I still draw the ancient outdated way, on paper with pens and markers and stuff. If I did get an art tablet I'd very likely get frustrated because my drawings wouldn't look as good.

When I was young, I was full of hopes and dreams about becoming a cartoonist some day. Naturally, I had no idea just how different the world would be.

I still use pens/pencils and paper myself. I do calligraphy projects more so than drawings but I do draw too occasionally. I actual think it sad that everything artistic seems to be expected to be done electronically nowadays. Personally I think that the impressions of the pen on the paper or the brush strokes in the paint add to the beauty of a complete art project. I know that most people my age probably disagree.
