When I was young as a session cellist I wondered about pedals. Some sort of musical voodoo. Now i use them on my fretless basses and upright bass.I would not even know how to use any of that. I play a Deering Goodtime banjo and the only electronic thing I have is the tuner.
So long as you enjoy music. My mates I need crowds who like heavy covers.I know there's a few people in here that are in to this sort of thing, some for the sake of music, others just for a love of the hardware. It's all beyond me though, I was born tone deaf with no sense of rhythm.
I miss the 80s, our live music scene wasn't just vibrant, it was an integral part of our society. I wish there was some way of getting people back in to pubs with live performers. Getting to and from venues without getting done for DUI is one part of the problem, and the other is the price of beer these days. Reducing the excise on beer might be needed to get that ball rolling again. So long as you enjoy music. My mates I need crowds who like heavy covers.
