Mixing / Mastering music

For the sake of sharing, sites like Boz Digital have up to 81% off sales on their plugins already. Pre-black-friday shopping seems to keep getting earlier each year.

Still haven't read everything in this thread but happy to find some other musicians in the group. I have only ever played with Audacity for recording, and tux studio for playing around composing. This winter though I want to get into recording and composition. I'm currently waiting on a new midi/keyboard. I know a smattering of music theory and most of what I play, guitar/drums/bass/piano is self taught, or taught to me by friends. With getting the keyboard the intent is to dive into theory and work on creating some instrumental background tracks to help me tune things out while I'm at work.

Anyways I'll stop rambling, happy to be here, look forward to talking and getting to know you folks better.

Cool, cool. I wish I was proficient with keys, and it's always supposedly said to translate / transfer perfectly over to guitar.......but I'm so lost as far as keys - to - chords. Keyboard dyslexia or something. At the same time, I'm always fine staying in my lane of what I can do, and I think it helps me appreciate the various kinds of / ranges of other musicians, too. All good.

P.S. Many more sites for hardware and software (instruments, plugins, etc.) are having their holidays sales. It's almost overwhelming. Guitar Center wants my money bad, haha.
