Indeed though talking so much in my ultra artistcly headed fishcord group has given me the ability to read these kinds of meanings when I'm not tired in fact I made it into a joke when my work partner/friend said he was popping up to see one of our volunteers.

A penny for your thoughts, is that all?

An albatross around one’s neck, requires a big rope

It costs an arm and a leg, body parts as currency

    A stitch intime saves nine,

Any port in the storm, who would sail in a storm

    Lend me your ears, ewe

All the worlds a stage, no wonder I don’t go out much

Happy as a clam, clams have sensory reactions so they do not emote

    Baggage, unresolved emotions

A bun in the oven, pregnancy

I think that's about storm rising while sailing, so one would like to get to a port quickly.

I'm really glad you pointed this out before me makes me feel less anal retentive.

I read a far Side cartoon where there are two witches, and one of them has just happily announced her pregnancy to the other witch, who says, "Oh, you're pregnant? That's wonderful! At first, I taking you literally when you said you one in the oven."

That's the first time I heard the expression, so I probably would have taken it literally too, since stereotypical witches have been known to cook and eat children.
