List just one thing you did today

Yesterday was the last of a mild spell, so I stayed very busy on outdoor jobs. Today, I'd planned to rest and wait out a major windstorm. Then it dropped a big chuck of tree across my driveway and on the sidewalk. I got it down to chunks I could move, but got rubbery-legged doing it. I used a swede saw, but it was getting an awful lot of friction.. Then I had to wear ice studs on my shoes to make it two blocks to the newsbox, leaning far into the wind.

Was online buying wrecked vehicles, needed more inventory for my auto salvage yard I own. All 4 I bought have scrap titles being sold for parts only. Did it at the towing yard I co own with my 2 older brothers

Got back settled back into home after spending 5 days with my mother in her senior living apartment--was a good visit, featuring sing-alongs, bland but nutritious food, and inter-community drama.

Watching this video recognized the surname in my family tree, yes share DNA. Weird watching a video amazed at what the guy did, then realizing he is a relative. Even stranger baler I used as teenager was invented by him.

Stopped at a lady's place to check out she had for sale, her late husband's Matco toolbox full of tools. Took my offer and handed her the money. Did good on it, no cheap junk in it full of Matco, Mac and Snap On tools. Keeping it for my home shop

I worked in the garden. Brought the plants back outside. (Some were inside due to some near freezing temperatures.) Staked up my papaya trees. Neatened up the mulch.

I had a back-up camera left over from a project that didn't get finished, and today I got it working as originally intended, updating my old car. I had to rush to get it done on a milder winter day. As usual, it has taken several times longer than expected, but it looks well integrated.

Went to scout the location I had earmarked for tomorrow's video shoot. Huge no trespassing sign on the only access road. I don't think it's legal to do that, but I turned back to be safe. Trying to find out the legal status of the road but that screws me for tomorrow. My Plan B is also inaccessible. Not in a great mood this evening.
