List just one thing you did today

Got the flu shot this morning. My arm hurts and it's a good excuse to go back to bed this rainy afternoon.

Doctor wants me to get the RSV vaccination, too. I hear it can be really hard on the patient. I'll decide if I want to get it after I get over the flu shot.

I declined a Covid vax this morning. If some new strain of Covid hits the country, then I might get a booster shot.

My Mama and I have been decorating the house for Thanksgiving. I love the way my turkey glows when the sunlight shines through it.😃

Got back and front steps replaced poured concrete to code so less issues no chance of tripping. playing it safe after stroke. Now how to get out of house, party tonight.

The nurse (janitor? clerical worker? Unqualified person off the street?) who gave me the flu shot put it in the wrong place. She jabbed me in the center of my arm and not in the deltoid muscle where it is supposed to be injected. I've sent a message of complaint to my doctor about it. I have a huge swollen lump and black/blue/purple bruising with dark pink edges where she injected me, and I felt like garbage yesterday. My husband threatened to call the doctor himself about the misplacement of the injection but I talked him out of it.

Jeez, if you need a shot, make sure you know what kind of shot it is and where it is supposed to be injected because the nurse or staff may not know. Next time, I'm going to grill the nurse before he/she sticks me to try to make sure he/she is competent and is doing it the correct way.

When I was in college over forty years ago taking micro biology courses remember being told here in Ontario any thing that is injected is considered surgery, so only qualified personnel like doctors are allowed to perform surgery, however they could delegate to nurses.

I am so sorry that happened to you. I hope it clears up soon.

All shots should go in the boo-tay. Easier to keep track of that way.
Not at all. Some shots are not intramuscular and should be given in other locations.

There are plenty of mistakes that can be made in positioning of injections being made in the gluteus maximus or the gluteus media, which include hitting the sciatic nerve and major blood vessels. And you can’t see what the injector is doing. So putting all injections in the buttocks is not a sure thing,
