List just one thing you did today

First, very much teasing. Second, I have much love and admiriation for you and your adventures. To me, you set a standard that others should strive for. Apologies for the poor attempt at humor.

❤️
No problem. I figured it was teasing but I am so not good at discerning teasing, sarcasm, etc.
I appreciate the compliments but I’m really just another person making my way through the world.
You do stuff I’d never dream of doing. 💕

This is sad. A 98-year-old woman I have known all my life and grew up with her children, died in her sleep early Sunday morning. She was one of the kindest, nicest people I have ever known. I ordered flowers online this morning for her funeral (I chose pink and white flowers which just seem to fit her) and will take some large Domino pizzas to the family around lunchtime today. Their family is large, lots of grandchildren, and people are flying in from all over the country for the funeral so lots of mouths to feed. She played the organ and my mother played the piano for over 50 years at the church I grew up in. They were very close friends.

I did an event Saturday night for our latest area Comic Con. It was the after party, and the main thing was our second annual, nerf dart gun, quick draw competition. I took a bunch of names, put them in the bracket and we whittled down till we had our winner.

This would be quite more awesome than I imagined, though. Turns out, at this hotel is where a lot of military were stationed, and they wanted in on everything big time - they made it tons more fun, too. They bring their own kind of energy, but they loved every bit of it. We had a limbo competition, too. Cornhole and giant beer pong stuff, etc.

It was a crowd, but again, I was working and didn't feel out of place being in a host / worker mode. Everyone had fun and won some prizes. I know I did a good service.
