List just one thing you did today

Starting small definitely is best. I specifically asked about security at the facility and felt like they kind of brushed away any concerns about a patient going off the rails. Then, I thought about them handling sharp knives in a cooking class. Still thinking about that angle.

Two experienced counselors will live at the facility with the women and two other staffers will be there every day. There will be 8-12 patients there so the ratio of counselors to patients will be about 1 to 2 or 1 to 3.

Be careful, you are very giving person, but don't place yourself in danger.

Rebuilt my entertainment center. Took out my second receiver that I hardly ever use. Also discovered that lifting my audio system's down-firing subwoofer some five inches above the floor attenuates the unwanted "boom". A must living in an apartment. My receiver has 3 or 4 different ways to control bass, but it hasn't been so effective compared to this. Go figure...

Why use steel shelving like this? Think of the heat that is dissipated both on the top, bottom and sides.

I still recall the last time I had my "home theater system" cranked up for a crime drama on television. Lot of gunfire. My neighbor didn't seem to object, though he did call the police claiming he heard gun fire. Better known as being "swatted".

I just completed a very, very long phone call with my bank, but the process was able to be completed online and it resulted in being able to move money from this to that at a benefit to me and it was just days before the deadline. Hurray!!!!

Started using 8 fingers on the harp strings.

Ring fingers are out of shape and need a workout before they can do the same work as thumb, index and middle finger (no jokes about that middle finger fellow, please :) ).

I got an email from my anatomy and physiology instructor that said I'm doing well in the course. I felt exactly like my 2nd grade self getting a gold star from the teacher. 😊

I made venison bbq, putting together an actual recipe, making substitutions, cooking. Previous to this it had just been sandwiches and snacks.

Back at a new dentist, why do dentists deplete every energy bar l have, besides depleting bank accounts. :(
but the dentist is ND, alright.

I drove 40 miles (80 miles roundtrip) to my annual cardiology appointment, only to be told that they changed the appointment to tomorrow. No one bothered to tell me, the patient, that they changed the appointment. So, I have to go back tomorrow. I'm not a happy camper right now.

Aspychata, my dentist is NT but has a child, adult now, with cerebral palsy. He is especially attentive to individual needs.

Mary Terry, that kind of thing has happened to me too. Sorry your day was wasted to say nothing of gas and wear and tear on the car.

Today I am baking a key lime pie with key limes gathered just a few steps from my porch.

Kind of cheating because I’m only about to, but anytime I can actually get around to setting stuff up is an achievement lol. I think at least I’ve been able to get a good picture in my head before attempting, but then also makes it a bit more intimidating to fail. Have only used my paints a handful of times now, just gotta remind myself it’s not unlike drawing and to take everything as a learning experience. Moreover I’m just realizing how fast white paint in particular can run out. Tonight I have some foggy autumn forest in mind, since you really don’t get that where I live now unless you travel aways.
