Got the second shot for shingles vaccination.

My S.O. had a "mild" case is shingles once, and it was very unpleasant.

That second shot was a killer for me. I got a rash like chicken pox around the injection site and felt awful for a day and night. But the vaccination is worth the effort to reduce the severity of shingles if you ever get it. My sister-in-law spent numerous days in the hospital when she had shingles.

I hurts - not as much as a tetanus shot, but with some lingering soreness.

The med tech warned of a possible rash, but I didn't get the rash.

Much, much better than shingles!
