List just one thing you did today

Stayed inside and avoided the wind- and the snow.

LOL...it won't stick if it can't hit the ground. April Fools Day apparently came early here.
Same here, no power anywhere around here with the ice storm.

I felt sort of aimless and emotionless today, so I spent a lot of time on the stationary bicycle and doing calisthenics. Might as well allow my apathy to work in my favor.

Talked to someone to agree on deposit for roof rejuvenation and when they may start. Start my chauffeur job for my partner's dialysis journey. Oh boy, not what l had envisioned.

Making my potato soup right now...simmering on the stove. Thanks for the inspiration.

Mine being a bit more modest...bits of green onions, diced white onions, parsley and a lot of salt and pepper. Using a mix of 60% water and 40% milk with a hefty slice of butter.

In the past I thought I used too much milk....so this time I'm cutting back and adding that much more water. Hope it's ok....just like my mother used to make from scratch. But for me...nope...just a can of potato soup to add to. Down n dirty!

I'll try to let it simmer for another 55 minutes or so....longer the better.

Trying to make more of an effort to engage today. I still feel I am struggling. But maybe that isn't a bad thing. Because I need to overcome the struggle.

I did a couple of chemistry experiments at school.

Got my power back, at least for the time being. Cleaned up water in the basement. Then the float on the pump stuck, so I had to clean up water all over again. Made some adjustments and seems to be good now.

Every day, l run the pros and cons of the relationship l am in currently. If the ecomony wasn't so horrible, and l didn't have so much on house to fix, l just don't really know........ But l did final deposit for roof work!

Back to normal for me. After getting home from work, played music for the last 3-4 hours. Been missing that.
