List just one thing you did today

I walked through the Hermitage of Braid today, before heading up to Oxgangs. 🏞🚶‍♂️

Just now, I found out the actor Wings Hauser passed away. 🪦

Went to his doctor, got three referrals and prescriptions renewed, yay, mission accomplished. Some lady left yelling that the doctor wouldn't give her a prescription.

Cut off most of a rusted-in handlebar stem in a very rare bicycle fork I need, and then drilled out most of what remained, pretty much using my drill press to the max. The rest I can destroy with lye.

Finished drawings at work for a job where we only had Navisworks models to go on, which allows very limited measurements. Took me all week but I did it. The customer kept promising us real drawings but never delivered.

I had an outdoors teatime with my Mama and our huskies. Well, the huskies didn't actually have a cup of tea but they attended. It felt really good outside today.😃

Used up the leftover corned beef brisket for dinner. I thought we'd never finish eating it!
It reminded me of the old saying that loneliness is defined as two people and a ham to eat.

I'm cooking vegetarian this week to recover from all that corned beef. ;)

Snowblowed the driveway and mailbox. Haven’t gotten mail the last 2 days. Snow has slowed down but hasn’t quit since Sunday.

I was triggered by gaslighting yesterday by my partner, had nightmares last night , and l didn't over-eat or any other unhealthy coping behaviors, l confronted the person calmly. Decided to cancel their morning appointment and tend to my mental health needs. Later, l ran a bunch of errands for them.

I just saw a mockingbird carrying a little bundle of twigs in its beak, fly into the big old rosebush in the backyard. It's nest building time! Sometimes the birds use hair from the horses and donkeys to make their nests. The hair from their manes and tails gets snagged on the fence wire and the birds collect it.
