I mean, we don't even use it for much and I'm saving up for my own modern laptop...

It's all relative to what you did or still may use it for.

Funny to think that most people may not even remember what life was like to use high technology without the Internet. Nowadays it seems that computers are mostly used to communicate with and retrieve information and little else beyond gaming.

Though I used to have an even older legacy system that ran Windows 3.1. That one I eventually got rid of simply because the software and most games were just too primitive to use. I'd take it out of the closet once a year to run, and the fun lasted about five minutes before I would put it all back.

It's actually still fast on the internet, using an old version of firefox.

I'm not even gonna use it, my family might.
