It took a year but...

Autistamatic

He's just this guy, you know?

A year ago the first Autistamatic video went up and this forum was the first place it was publicly announced. It wasn't perfect and I vowed then that I would re-edit it to iron out the wrinkles once the channel was established and I'd improved my skills. The sound's been re-balanced, the static section that jarred one or two people gone, background music changed, subtitles have been added, the graphics updated/changed and some minor changes to the wording made.

Thanks to everyone who has watched, offered constructive criticism and encouraged in this first year., and thanks even more to those who have subscribed. There's plenty more videos in the pipeline, a couple of which are being edited for release in the next 2-3 weeks.

For anyone who's interested the redux is linked below.

There's another recent video on the channel that I haven't previously posted here explaining "The Social Model of Disability" that I'm sure many of you will find interesting which you can find either by going to the Autistamatic YouTube channel or by visiting the website.

As always, your efforts are greatly appreciated. :)

And looking forward to your next presentation!

This is the best, most accurately informative video I have seen on my autism and I think Asperger's as most people live it. Thank you for making it. I think sharing this video with people in my life who I want to understand me will do more than I could explaining myself to them.

If I could give some other feedback - the sudden red on the screen and some of the quick changes in images was unpleasant for me and I had to stop looking at the screen. Oh, I wanted to tell you I thought the writing was terrific.

I enjoyed watching that video again and I like it even more with the subtitles so I didn't miss anything. Thanks for doing these.

If you ever do one on ND/NT relationships, you need to include your wife. That could be an interesting topic - discussed on here a lot. :) And that way, we could always refer people to your video. :)

That was very good and I enjoyed watching.
I also feel most productive with loud, rebellious music.
Then swing the opposite with ambient soft music to relax and use at night to fall asleep.
One is stimulating, the other a tranquilizer.

Reminding us that everyday can be an autistamatic day is a positive affirmation.
Thanks for these videos.
