I think worst case scenario if you did post something deemed really inappropriate I think you'd probably have the post taken down and an admin would message you to explain why.

Had a post of my own that got off track and heated to some extent and in that case I asked for the thread to be reviewed, and a few comments were removed because they were getting to be excessively politically oriented to a point where civil discourse was likely going to disappear. I try to think, is what I'm about to write something that would be appropriate to say with a child in hearing distance. If the answer is a firm no, I don't write it.

As long as you keep things civil and aren't prone to being excessively crude you'll be fine.

Autistic people are known for being inappropriate without realising it, at times, so it shouldn't be a hanging offence.

There was one thread on here started specifically for open-minded opinions. It still had dogma poised to attack. We should also assume that our conversations are being used to refine the profiles used by commerce and government to control us.

I never suggested it was a "hanging offence". More to that point of not realizing at times was why I mentioned an admin would explain why. No harm no foul in any of that scenario if whatever was posted was posted without malice.

"Safe" indeed. With present invasive technologies in the hands of both legitimate and illegitimate parties, it's difficult to really claim any domain anywhere online that may be truly "safe". No matter what safeguards may be in place to make such a claim.

That perhaps the only reasonably accurate answer comes in degrees and not conditional responses. After all, some sections of this forum are at least protected from bots harvesting data, often for search engines.
