You can write Private Messages to people.

You can write on people's Profiles.

You can visit the Chat Room, although that is
definitely not to everyone's taste. The atmosphere
varies considerably.

There is a section where Members Online are listed.
If you click at the top of the page where it says "Recent Activity"
that will result in a list of "Members Online Now."

Yeah the chatroom is good, I use it alot.... But as tree said its definitely would't be for everyone!
