I am very close to my son and want to help him in all ways possible. He has no friends and no family members that will interact with him. I find him interesting and loving.

I visit him two to three times a week. I'd love to find a group where we both can attend and have a fellowship of sorts or whatever.

Because they don't understand him. I've tried to encourage his dad at least to interact, but since my son is "not normal", difficult to "carry a conversation", "strange...."Why won't family members interact with him?
Actually, I set him up (registered him), but he's a bit apprehensive. I think if he'd find a pen pal, it would be great, a great start. Just don't know how to get him to that point.Would your son be interested in joining us here in the forums? He can find friends within the community. Maybe even a pen pal to correspond with. I found a pen pal here and its been wonderful.
Depending upon your location there may be programs that can help him. May I ask where you are located?
