eat chocolate ,panic ,stroke the cat sometimes ,sometimes have a cup of decaffeinated English breakfast tea , read posts on the forum ,try to sleep ,Watch a craft channel.I am crying for no reason and have shut myself off from everyone. I couldnt even do my presentation in my class today. I feel so bummed out. What do you guys if and when you feel like this?
Very good advice. I would add sleep, a favorite or weighted blanket, white noise, and that bunnies will work pretty well, too. Though they are less likely to curl up on your feet and sleep for 13 hours.eat chocolate ,panic ,stroke the cat sometimes ,sometimes have a cup of decaffeinated English breakfast tea , read posts on the forum ,try to sleep ,Watch a craft channel.
Sorry you're having a hard time Panthro. Have you been able to identify what precipitated your meltdown? Maybe if you share that (if you know it) it will help forum members make suggestions? Glad you didn't shut yourself off from us! I can't really advise because I'm an NT but sounds like maybe some peace and quiet will be helpful & maybe the crying will release tension. Anyway hang in there- I'm sure other members will chime in too.
If you can't tell people what's happening, can you tell them you're having a migraine, or you can feel one coming on?
The solution is the same, quiet isolation.
