If someone gets hot

If someone gets hot often and they choose to wear shorts and t-shirt or shorts and Polo Shirt, they are doing what makes sense and makes them more comfortable

Agree. And people who find it inappropriate, can stick their heads in a toilet bowl and flush.
Yeah, wearing pants and a long sleeve shirt (or even a full-on suit), or other dressy clothing in the summer because it is "more appropriate" is dumb, impractical, and will only make you suffer. Not to mention that nobody would find it fashionable at all. Wearing dressy clothing in the Summer is the least fashionable thing you can do.

Also, people will think of you as insane for wearing thick, long sleeved clothes during the summer. Only a masochist will enjoy wearing dressy clothing in the Summer.

well at least summer is over.

Sometimes I wear nothing. Hat and shoes are the most important garments. But if you are really hot and in the sun, light-colored cotton works well to reflect the heat and slow the loss of perspiration. I'm always in shorts and a t-shirt when I go out during warm weather.

Even though we have a month of spring left, it feels as though summer is upon us. Supposed to get to 35°C on Friday. Blech. I'll be wearing a t-shirt and 3/4 length pants like I always do in hot weather.

Australian or South African? For the Northern Hemisphere Winter Is Coming in multiple ways.

I think this is part of an analogy. People who overheat easily dress to cope with it. People who can't hear well may want captions on their shows, even if others in the room may not like it.

Similarly, I (for example) should be allowed to turn off my hearing aids when the world gets too loud, and wear sunglasses when lights are hurting my eyes, even indoors.
People have needs, and we should be allowed to deal with them without being put down and made to feel like a burden.
