I hate bullies- hockey player potential got what he deserved!

Hopefully he ends up sweeping floors at Walmart or somewhere worse. There can be no place for people who feel this behaviour is fine and normal.

I hope this happens to all the people who bullied me in elementary school who are now professional athletes too and financial executives. It happens too often and the bullies just keep ending up in positions of wealth and power.

Someone who bullied me in college was a famous Youtuber and his account got deleted for copyright infringement LOL

I really hate bullying too. A moment of entertainment for the bully can lead to a lifetime of misery and problems for the victims.

Undermining people's worth like that only tilts the field in the bully's favour. I've known so many people who struggle to fulfill their potential due to the damage and doubt in themselves due to bullying.

It makes me extremely angry when people are indifferent or callous to victims of bullying. Particularly when their advice is "toughen up" or "life's not fair". The victims already know that life's not fair.

Telling people to toughen up is about as useful as telling a homeless person to buy a house.

Some people who say "life's not fair" or "toughen up" aren't necessarily the bullies themselves, but you can tell who is a being a bully and who is trying to care, even if they don't know how to.

They may not intend to be and I'm sure they think they are helping. But it's the same rhetoric that caused the problem in the first place. You can't get out of a hole by digging a deeper hole.

Most of us who were severely bullied were often told things like that. It only served to really damage and invalidate and drive the scars even deeper. It's a form of gaslighting, sadly. However well intentioned. :-(
