I dont know where to begin!

Dan Dan

Im a dog person!
Ok so im in the process of being diagnosed with whatever i am and its taking forever. My impatience and anxiety go into meltdown waiting for updates and appointments.
It was in fact my sister who pointed out that i might be autistic and given that its her job to recognise signs of ASD i thought I'd look into it. This opened up a whole new world for me. Until a year ago i never new what ASD was however the more a read about ASD the more familiar it all became. Everything i read reflected on me to the point where it was like reading a biography about myself. I always thought i was just different but after digging deeper i discovered that there are people out there who are just like me. The relief i felt was overwhelming. I realised there's an entire community of people who i can talk to and relate with. For so long I've felt like an alien alone on this strange planet however now I've discovered that my own species are here with me and that im not alone anymore. I've so much to talk about and learn i don't know where to begin.

welcome.webp

Join in, spread the feel good factor to all the miserable people on here...

(Well, they've had a similar realisation to you,so they're not that miserable. But don't tell them they'll get too big for their boots)

(They can't read inside brackets can they?)

Thank you all for welcoming me. Although I still get nervous talking to people even online. Suppose I'll get used to it in time.
