How Do You Make A Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich?

Thats's something I have only seen on American tv. Putting peanut butter and jelly on bread is very foreign. The first time I heard about it, I didn't know they were talking about jam, I thought they meant this kind of jelly and it sounded so weird to put this on bread:

This is how wars begin. We have a different version of it here. Goat cheese and strawberry jam. Or raspberry jam. And it's best on waffles, with a little sour cream on top. That's normal, peanut butter and jam is just weird.

I put peanut butter on both sides of the bread and jelly/jam in the middle. I got into the habit of doing that when I'd take them in my lunch and I hated having soggy, gross sandwiches from the jelly/jam soaking into the bread.

I always stop and buy the home made Jams/Jelly the Amish sell , usually they have a stand right in front of their farmhouse , fresh fruit , vegetables right from their garden as well .
Black Raspberry is amazing .

Me personally- Peanut butter on one slice of bread , and jelly on the other slice .

Also people may find this weird , a cracker with jelly and Extra sharp cheese on top.

My great grandparents showed me this and I love it .

Yes, that's goat cheese and raspberry jam on the waffle. With a little sour cream. I haven't tasted peanut butter but that cheese does have a thick buttery texture. Sticks to the gums.

LOL...I didn't make them. My mother did.

Beyond that I can't say as a teenager or an adult that I remember eating them at that age. I also recall my mother giving me peanut butter and honey sandwiches as well. For whatever reason as I got older I just stopped eating such things, other than jelly on toast which I still enjoy.

Love peanuts, but haven't had any peanut butter in many years. Well...there's one HUGE exception I suppose. Like so many others, I adore any of Reese's candy products.
