How do you feel about the Pentagon's diagnosis of Putin?

I do not know enough about Putin to have an opinion on this.

BTW, I think that us Aspies need to avoid the mistake of assuming that famous and historical people we like do have Aspergers, and that famous or historical people whom we dislike, don't have it.
 
Well, I agree that "us aspies" and everyone else too should abstain from doing so. However, I can't help but feel the need to inform you that I wasn't saying I felt it was an out-of-order claim from the Pentagon because I don't like Putin and therefore, he can't have asperger's syndrome like I do, lol. No. Just in case you somehow inferred that.

Thing is that their justification for this claim is his lack of extraverted behaviour or friendliness when USA officers try to discuss things with him on a crowded environment as opposed to when they do so in a more private environment.

I mean, the guy has KGB training and experience, I don't think anyone with his kind of training would feel it to be safe to discuss matters of politics openly in a big group gathering.
 
Sounds like political propaganda. They want to invalidate him. Putin is obviously a psychopath, but I guess the American government doesn't want to throw rocks inside glass houses. If he also has some other sort of neuroweirdness, that still doesn't "inform his choices" more than actual data informs his choices, let alone his goals.

I wonder what they'll say of Kim Jong Un.
 
Hahaha! I'd love to hear the Pentagon's opinion on our Dearest Leader actually! I'm sure it would be a fascinating read.

If they're throwing around diagnoses in order to invalidate someone, that is unacceptable.
You don't hear about them making diagnoses of our own presidents, and maybe there's a reason for that.

Is that a statement or a question? Or just a suspicion? Bottom line as others have posted, I think the report by the Pentagon was simply a device to disparage the man.

Whatever he may or may not be. I just take him at face value- a stern Russian Nationalist.

He has certain habits like trying to behave super hetero-sexual... I would say his revel the Prime Minister of Israel is also insane.. Obama need to hold these idiots apart?
 
I do not know the man, so I do not know if he is autistic. I think that there is a very high probability that the reports that he is are just propaganda.
