Been out for awhile with no connection to the outside world. Have had a huge history of bowel problems since birth and I thought I had it licked. Was being scheduled for a hiatal hernia surgery because I got to where I could barely eat. But then almost 3 weeks ago I felt that familiar pain from over 20 years ago of a bowel blockage. Ended up in the hospital for almost 3 weeks and had surgery for this, so the hiatal hernia goes on the back burner. Just got home tonight, and got a long recovery ahead, still in a lot of pain and limited movement but hopefully this has it solved for awhile. Just thought I'd let you know, as I had one person private message me.

Hope you have a speedy recovery with no set backs. Sorry you've had to be in so much pain.

Thanks for the wishes everyone. Slow going but getting there. Sometimes it feels like 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Difficult to do stairs and my computer is in the basement so I'm not on so much. Getting stir crazy because I just want to work on things. Insomnia because my mind races. Tried pushing a small pile of dirt in my garage with a shop broom but even that was too much so had to stop. Sometimes you don't realize all the things you take for granted until you can't do anything. At least I have my little toy bass guitar upstairs, it's light enough for me to play safely.
