Hi everyone! I'm a 43 year old awaiting a full diagnostic assessment after recently completing a pre-screening assessment. My daughter was diagnosed with autism a couple of years back after which I started to realise that my life-long problems with poor emotional regulation, meltdowns, social and communication difficulties, limited and highly specialised interests and various odd (according to others) behaviours might actually be signs of autism. Hoping to learn, connect with others and hopefully understand more about myself so that I can more easily adapt to some of these challenges! :)

Hi & welcome! I'm a new member here today too :)

Hi and welcome, I hope that you enjoy it here and find it useful and supportive. The issues you mention do sound like issues many here have faced, though there are upsides too of being on the autism spectrum. It can be a relief to understand this I agree. Well done for looking into this and working this out.
