Howdy! I'm Violet. I was diagnosed with Asperger's two years ago. I have a cat that I love to death. I love to knit, read, and watch TV. I do have friends, but social interaction is difficult, (surprise, surprise). I'm glad I found this website.

To quote Tony Attwood: "...cats are autistic dogs, so there may be a natural affinity between cats and people with autism and Asperger’s syndrome."

I rescued 3 cats and they not only provide therapeutic benefits, but each one gets along great with another..true harmony. I love them so much, Stanley, Debbie ,and Bob.
